Reason Tutorial for Beginner

This tutorial describes the process of creating a simple drum loop using step sequencing with in Reason. The aim is to give those who have little to no experience with step sequencing or Reason a reference point with which they can start composing proper songs.

Included in the tutorial:

*Setting up a Reason environment
*Chaining devices using ‘create’
*Selecting a Tempo
*Adding Reason’s drum samples into in their own respective channels (without using preset patches)
*Composing a basic loop using the step sequencer
*Increasing the loop pattern to 32 steps

Finally, this tutorial was made in Windows XP using Reason 3.0 (complete installation). Therefore, the pathways to the Reason Factory Sound Bank may vary between OS and version.
